SEN. PANFILO Lacson has accepted President Macapagal-Arroyo's offer of post-election reconciliation. The invitation was made during the Mass for honest, orderly and peaceful elections at the San Agustin Church in Intramuros on the eve of the May 10 polls.
Lacson said Ms Macapagal had asked him if they could reconcile after the elections, to which he answered, "Yes, Ma'am. Definitely."
"It's about time we have genuine reconciliation," Lacson told reporters in a news conference at his Makati campaign headquarters Thursday.
"The offer was made inside a church. I had no reason to doubt her.... she even had communion," he added. [Inq7.net]
