Mount Maculot is a 600-meter high volcanic rock wall situated in Cuenca, Batangas.
The "Rockies", located at the northern edge of the mountain, offers a stunning view of the lake and the volcano.
It is home to a number of species, flora and fauna, and to the locals of Cuenca.
The lake surrounding the mountain is a source of livelihood and channel of transportation.
The impact of wastes that will endanger life within the vicinity is very crucial thus, the call for an environmental protection from various sectors.
In line with this, Outdoor Addicts, in cooperation with other mountaineering groups, will be having a "Mass Clean-up" climb in Mount Maculot this coming July 1-2, 2006. We are calling all concern group or individuals in this 2-day climb-for-a-cause dubbed as "Magpulot sa Maculot 2" that will promote not just Responsible Mountaineering but Environmental Awareness as well.[Outdoor Addicts]

Apol! Salamat sa heads-up sa latest trekking adventure mo. Wish I can join pero di pa rin gumgaan ang work sched ko. Baka mag-trek kami this weekend to get away even for a while pero yung tipong matutulog sa site at lalangoy ng konti.
