  • Yes, The King is dead and it's confirmed by CNN-

Michael Jackson, the show-stopping singer whose best-selling albums -- including "Off the Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad" -- and electrifying stage presence made him one of the most popular artists of all time, died Thursday, CNN has confirmed.

    He was 50.

He collapsed at his residence in the Holmby Hills section of Los Angeles, California, about noon Pacific time, suffering cardiac arrest, according to brother Randy Jackson. He died at UCLA Medical Center.

    Happy Father's Day!

I'll be celebrating Father's day with Pia and Setsu in Hong Kong!

    Hong Kong Disneyland

We arrived here in Hong Kong last Friday for a 4-day vacation. We will be back tomorrow night. Yesterday, we went to Hong Kong Disneyland and today we will go to Ocean Park. I'll post more pictures later.

Like our Panglao Island vacation a couple of months ago, Pia is enjoying her Hong Kong vacation so much! And by the way, these are all paid for through my Google money!

Happy Father's day to all fathers out there!

    You're the 1, Goldilocks!

Pia is a picky eater and it's always a struggle convincing her to eat more during meal times. She's been like that since she started eating solid foods. When she was younger, we even tried giving her heraclene, with the hope of improving her appetite, but without luck.

    You're the 1, Goldilocks!

There are only few occasions wherein she would really eat with zest and one of them is when we're at Goldilocks.

The first time Pia eat at Goldilocks was when we went to CSI Dagupan to buy some groceries few years ago. We passed by a Goldilocks branch and I told Pia that when her mom and I were still in college, it's one of our favorites. She then requested to eat there and the rest is history. Now every time we go to CSI Dagupan, we're eating at Goldilocks almost always. She loves Goldilocks' dinuguan and meat balls the most.

You're the 1 Goldilocks because you're part of our lives then and now.

I'm ashamed of my congresswoman Vicky H. Reyes for supporting HR 1109!

Our district representative, Vicky Reyes (3rd district, Batangas) supported HR 1109, which aims to convene the lower house into a Constituent Assembly to amend the constitution without the senate's participation. The timing of this move is really dubious. It may be used to extend GMA's corruption term.

Check if your congressman also supported HR 1109. Here's the list:

    Prayer for Death

I just love how some "Christians" use god to help their cause.

Last year, there's this guy who uttered a prayer for rain to sabotage Democratic National Convention, where Obama was set to give his acceptance speech. Now, another "Christian" is praying for Obama. This time, it's prayer for death.

Wiley Drake, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Buena Park, Calif., and former running mate of American Independent Party presidential candidate Alan Keyes, said June 2 on Fox News Radio he didn't understand why people were upset with his comments quoted by Associated Baptist Press from a webcast of his daily radio talk show.

"Imprecatory prayer is agreeing with God, and if people don't like that, they need to talk to God," Drake told syndicated talk-show host Alan Colmes. "God said it, I didn't. I was just agreeing with God."

Asked if there are others for whom Drake is praying "imprecatory prayer," Drake hesitated before answering that there are several. "The usurper that is in the White House is one, B. Hussein Obama," he said.

Later in the interview, Colmes returned to Drake's answer to make sure he heard him right.

"Are you praying for his death?" Colmes asked.

    "Yes," Drake replied.

"So you're praying for the death of the president of the United States?"

    "Yes."

Colmes asked Drake if he was concerned that by saying that he might be placed on a Secret Service or FBI watch list, and if he believed it appropriate to talk or pray that way.

"I think it's appropriate to pray the Word of God," Drake said. "I'm not saying anything. What I am doing is repeating what God is saying, and if that puts me on somebody's list, then I'll just have to be on their list."

"You would like for the president of the United States to die?" Colmes asked once more.

"If he does not turn to God and does not turn his life around, I am asking God to enforce imprecatory prayers that are throughout the Scripture that would cause him death, that's correct."[Source]

I wonder if there are "Christians" in the Philippines who are also uttering a prayer for death for those supported Con Ass.
