Nestle's Heaven Ice Cream

My friend Doms invited me yesterday to watch Angelina Jolie's newest movie SALT at Greenbelt. He said he got three movie tickets from Nuffnang so I immediately took the offer. :-)

It turned out that it was one of those promo from Nestle featuring it's latest product, Heaven Ice Cream.

I've been boycotting Nestle products since the death of Ka Ding Fortuna so it's a bit awkward. Had I known in advance, I wouldn't have taken the offer. But I must admit, I really enjoyed the movie and the free ice cream! Thanks to Nuffnang! :-)

Nestle is really active in using blogs to promote its products, as in the case of Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt and Nestle Pops.

I wonder if Ka Ding Fortuna is in heaven now.

Traffic from 'Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt' Search

I have just checked my Google Analytics report for this blog and I found out that I'm getting a fair share of search traffic from Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt' keyword search.

Traffic from 'Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt' Search

I've been boycotting Nestle products for quite a time now. When Nestle used blogging to promote Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt, I tried to optimize that keyword with the end in view of exposing the condition of Nestle Workers, of the murder Ka Ding Fortuna.

Looks like I succeeded.

Because I blocked Nestle Ads from my Adsense account, I'm not making any money from the searh traffic generated by that post. But that's ok! Money isn't everything. ;-)

Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt | Be good to yourself

When I saw the Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt's Be Good to Yourself campaign over at Nuffnang few weeks ago, the first thing that entered my mind then was Ka Ding Fortuna.

Ding Fortuna was an active member of KMU National Council and has served the militant labor movement for 29 years as a labor leader of the multinational company Nestle workers' union until he was murdered on Sept 2005.

I've been boycotting Nestle Products since then.

When I realized that the Nuffnang ads running on this blog is that of Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt's Be Good to Yourself campaign, I immediately requested from Nuffnang to remove the NFSY ads, which they immediately did.

Nestle is active in using blogs to promote their products like in the case of Nestle Pops. But in solidarity with the Nestle Workers union, I never allow Nestle ads on this blog. I have also blocked from my Adsense account all ads from Nestle.

It's good that Nestle promotes good health. Please also be good to your workers.
